Mariem Fakih Zguir completed her information systems degree at CMU-Q in 2013, and is now a fourth year PhD student in HBKU’s College of Science and Engineering in the sustainable development division.
Mariem sees sustainability is an interplay between three important components: the environment, the economy, and society. Technology is an important tool to connect these components, bringing communities and people together and opening the doors for progress.
